Built in Calgary. Proven on the job.

YYC Coatings was founded in Calgary to give industrial and commercial clients a coating contractor they could count on: one that shows up when promised, does the prep properly and stands behind the finish.

Today our crew handles coating, sandblasting and painting projects across Calgary and southern Alberta, from single pieces of equipment to full facilities. Every job is run by our own people, start to finish.

We are a local business, and most of our work comes from repeat clients and referrals. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every project.

Why YYC Coatings

The prep you can’t see is why the finish lasts.

Most coating failures start before the first coat goes on. We take the time to get the surface, the system and the schedule right.

  • Quality materials

Industrial-grade coating systems from proven manufacturers, specified for the substrate and the service conditions.

  • Certified crew

Trained applicators who follow manufacturer specs and industry surface-prep standards on every job.

  • On-time delivery

Clear schedules, daily updates and crews that work around your operations to keep downtime to a minimum.

  • Safety-first

Site-specific hazard assessments, proper containment and PPE. Our safety record matters as much as the finish.

  • Warranty-backed

Workmanship backed by a written warranty, so you know the coating will perform as promised.

  • Calgary local

Based in Calgary and serving southern Alberta. We understand freeze-thaw cycles, road salt and chinook swings.
