FAQ
Common questions.
Have a question that isn’t covered here? Call us at (403) 464-2465 or send us a message.
What types of coatings do you apply?
We work with industrial epoxies, polyurethanes, zinc-rich primers and enamel systems. The right choice depends on the substrate, the environment and the finish you need, and we will recommend a system with your quote.
Does the surface need to be sandblasted first?
Most high-performance coatings need a clean, profiled surface to bond properly, so sandblasting is usually recommended. For some jobs, mechanical prep or cleaning is enough. We will tell you what your project needs.
How long will the coating last?
A properly specified and applied system can protect steel for many years. Lifespan depends on the coating, the prep and the service conditions, and we will give you realistic expectations up front.
Can you coat on site?
Many jobs can be done on site at your facility. Tell us about the size and location of the work when you request a quote and we will plan the best approach.
When can the coated item go back into service?
Cure times vary by product and temperature. Some systems are ready for light use within a day, others need longer. We will plan the schedule around your operations.
